First Fundraiser of the Year

Neil Hafleys first fundraiser of the year is about to kick off. Entertainment Books will be arriving Wednesday September 2, 2009. All Neil Hafley students are being asked to try and sell at least one. Entertainment books are $20. This is a great fundraiser for Neil Hafley with a lot of great coupons from local businesses through out the Central Valley. The money raised will go directly back to Neil Hafley students to purchase a projection screen for the new multi purpose room.

Back to School Night 09' Smashing success

That time of year was back again. Back to School Night was a huge success at Neil Hafley this year. The Neil Hafley Community Club served over 500 meals and Neil Hafley Leadership students assisted with packing bags and passign out sodas. Families enjoyed a great night of family togetherness and the kids were anxious to show off their classrooms and introduce their teachers to their parents. Mr. Anderson introduced the teachers, which included several teachers new to our school this year.

The Neil Hafley Community Club shared all of the great ways that parents can help the school directly without having to volunteer a bunch of time. Some of these programs included:

• Box Tops
• Campbell's Soup Labels
• Apples for Schools
• The S.H.A.R.E. card
• Capris sun
• and Frito Lays bags.

After these quick announcements the families were off to the classrooms and the school year had officially begun.
